What you are playing
The oldest game in West Africa, given the version it deserves.
Ayò Ọlọ́pọ́n is played across Yorubaland on carved wooden boards, seeds moving counterclockwise from hand to hollow. It has been played for centuries. Most digital versions treat it as a generic mancala. This one does not.
Play
Sow the seeds, capture the pits, take the board. Single rounds against ranked opponents, or long games where you claim all twelve pits one by one.
Collect
Boards, seeds, titles and badges drawn from Yoruba craft and proverb. Everything you can buy is something you can wear, never something that wins you a game.
